Scope of this Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Kutch Ji Baari handles personal information through its mobile apps, public website, membership services and support channels.
Account information
To create and protect a membership account, we process your mobile number and OTP verification records; name, email, city, native village or town and optional occupation; membership ID, account status, privacy choices and primary-business preference; and session, device, app-version and security records.
Business and support information
We also process information you submit for family members, including name, mobile number and relation; business listings, including business contact details, address and products or services; and support, feedback and account-deletion requests. Add another person's information only when you have permission to do so.
Why we use this information
We use this information to verify membership, authenticate sessions, provide Digital ID and approved business features, manage family and account settings, review submissions, respond to support or deletion requests, secure and maintain the service, investigate misuse and meet legal obligations.
What other members can see
Approved business listings can show the business name, category, description, contact details, address, website, products or services and owner name to signed-in members. Member links resolve only an approved primary business when business visibility is enabled. Family details and member phone or email are not published through those links.
Technical information
The public website uses analytics to process page-visit and technical information such as browser or device type, approximate region and referring source. Authentication and administration systems may also process limited device, network, IP or user-agent information, including hashed values, for security, throttling and audit purposes.
Service providers and disclosures
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. We disclose information only when needed to operate Kutch Ji Baari through hosting, database, OTP, analytics, app-store, security or support providers; when you ask us to share it; or when required to comply with law or protect users and the service.
Selected preferences
You can update profile and family information in the app, control which approved business is primary and contact support to correct information or ask a privacy question. You can request account deletion in Account or through the public account-deletion page. Some limited records may be retained as described above.
Family information
Kutch Ji Baari is intended for community membership use. If family information relates to a child or another person who cannot provide it themselves, a parent, guardian or authorized family member should provide and manage it. Contact support to correct or remove family information.
Policy changes
You can request account deletion through the in-app Account options. We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, our information practices or applicable requirements change. The revised policy will be published with a new effective date.
