Privacy Policy
How Kutch Ji Baari handles member, account and support information.
Essential account information
We collect only the details needed to create, verify and support a Kutch Ji Baari membership account: your mobile number, OTP verification status, name, email, city, optional occupation, membership ID, account status and basic session records. These details help us confirm that the account belongs to you and keep your membership identity available in the app.
Optional information you choose to send
If you use support, feedback, business registration or account deletion forms, we collect the information you enter in those forms so we can review and respond to the request. Business listings, events and community resources are reviewed before they are published or shown as official community content.
Information we do not collect in this release
The current release does not ask for payment card details, bank information, government ID documents, your phone contacts, precise GPS location, photos, camera access or microphone access. If a future feature needs a new type of data, we will update this policy and request the required permission before using it.
How we use information
We use member information to verify your mobile number, create your membership identity, keep you signed in, show your account and digital ID, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, protect the community and operate the app. We may also use limited, non-public operational records to debug errors, investigate abuse or comply with legal obligations.
Privacy choices and public display
Your member profile includes privacy settings for phone, email and business visibility. We keep public display conservative by default and only show member or business information through approved product surfaces. Mobile screens may hide information for convenience, but server-side access rules remain the authority.
Data safety and security
We use server-side validation, protected API routes, secure session tokens and device secure-storage integration to protect account access. OTPs, access tokens, refresh tokens and sensitive member data are not intended to be logged. No online service can promise absolute security, but we design the app to limit access to what is necessary for membership and support operations.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to operate the service, such as with hosting, database, OTP delivery, support, app-store or security providers. These providers process information for Kutch Ji Baari operations and are not allowed to use it for their own unrelated purposes.
Retention
We keep account and support records only for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain membership history, resolve support issues, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud or protect the community. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it according to our operational requirements.
Account deletion and correction
Members can request account deletion from the app under Account, or by using the public account deletion page. We may verify account ownership before acting on a request. After approval, we delete or de-identify account data unless limited retention is required for security, legal, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution reasons. Members may also contact support to correct inaccurate account details.
Children and family details
Kutch Ji Baari is intended for community members and business users who can manage their own account details. Family details are used for account organization and community support, and are not sold. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information, they can contact support for review.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app adds production-backed community, business, event, card, directory or communication features. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
